My mom is a Russian software engineer from the 90s tech wave; my dad's American. She taught me chess, then math, then my first lines of code — in that order, and she'd tell you the order matters.
Growing up in Seattle means it rains 200 days a year, so I became a professional indoor kid: PAX West every year since I was eight, first game mod at twelve, accelerated CS degree because I couldn't wait to build things for real.
Now I live in the Storm Room — my studio, code lab, wardrobe, game lobby and classroom all at once. Every costume, every build, every stream starts here. And the whole point is that you're not watching — you're voting.
